Is There Such Thing As “Hypoallergenic” Pets?

Often, individuals who are allergic to animals are allergic to the dander, which is the dead skin that keeps on shedding, the urine, or the saliva. According to the people who suffer from allergies, these kinds of animals that they are allergic to compared to other animals. Moreover, there might be particular animals within a specific species that are more allergic compared to others. This is apparently true with cats and dogs.

There is no such thing as “hypoallergenic” cats or dogs since all of them can really cause allergic symptoms in people. Likewise, there are no cats or dogs that don’t shed. As a matter of fact, they always do. Some of them may have a denser coat compared to others. They also shed the larger amount of hair compared to those cats and dogs with thin hair coats. However, shedding isn’t that essential in controlling allergy. In general, some breeds seem to have less dander, including Terriers, Poodles, and Schnauzers.
