You want your fur kid to have a comfortable night’s sleep. Obviously, that means heading to the nearest online dog bed store and choosing from the wide range of options available. You can buy dog beds for any sized pooch, from the smallest little Chihuahua to the biggest Great Dane.
If you’re finding the range of options available to be a little overwhelming, opt for affordable beds that make sense for your pet. If, for example, you live in a frigid climate, then the best beds for dogs would be those that have a decent amount of padding. They could have a heating pad in them as well.
If you have a doggie with arthritis, an orthopedic bed might be the right option to keep them safe and comfy at night and reduce stiffness in the morning.
Primarily, though, the most important thing is to ensure that the bed is comfortable. It should be well-padded enough that it shields your dog from the cold coming up through the floor. You can also put a rug or something like a yoga mat under the bed to further insulate it from the cold.
A heated pad for the bed is a nice to have, but not always essential. Make sure that your pooch has a nice, warm blanket that they can snuggle up with as needed.
It’s also not a bad idea to find a bed that has a removable cover that can be popped into the washer and dryer for a quick clean.
