How To Clean Your Cat’s Ears?

The ear of your cat is more L-shaped compared to yours and debris likes to gather at the corner of the L. For you to get rid of this debris, fill the ear canal of your cat with a great ear cleaner. Take note that ear cleaners must be slightly acidic but it must not sting. Then, massage your cat’s ear base for approximately 20-30 seconds to soften and release the debris. You can wipe out the excess fluid and loose debris with a cotton ball. Repeat this method until you don’t see any debris left on your cat’s ear. You may need to start out performing this twice a day depending on the ear condition of your cat.

Cotton applicator swabs can be utilized to clean the part of your cat’s ear canal you can see and the insides of the ear flap. They must not be utilized down in the ear canal because that can possibly pack debris in the ear canal, instead of removing it.
